Don't worry. With a little creativity you can put together amazing gifts. To start: think about the things he does now or things he has talked about doing but never has done.
Somewhere in this list is the perfect gift for your dad.

- He loves art: let him try his hand at painting, sculpting or drawing. Put together a gift basket full of supplies. You can even sign him up for a class at the local community college.
- Make a fun gift basket full of old toys .Get creative do a bit of research and find out what kind of game your dad used to play when he was younger. Lots of companies make fun reproductions that will bring a smile to his face.
- Buy a photo album and fill it with pictures of his life, from the time he was born up until the present. If doing the whole album is too much, why not buying a big frame and do a collage.
- For the technology gift: buy an Ipod and put some of his favorite songs. If he is always working on the computer find a silver plated mouse and have his initials engraved on it, don't forget to give him a squeezable ball to help relive tension and work different muscles.
- Indulge him with a tasty basket. You can fill it with anything from fresh organic fruits to rich coffees or chocolate. Don't forget to put coupons for dinning out. You can fill the basket with things he wouldn't buy for himself.
- If he collects small model cars, train or even hand craved scaled model of sailing boats, get him a display cabinet that will hold and show off his treasure. Don't forget to buy some new items to display with the old ones.
Hopefully some of these ideas will help you to get a great gift for your dad. Good Luck!
